Achieving Total Places

This timely conference, in the lead up to the General Election, will focus on local authority experiences in moving forward on this complex agenda.

Speakers will reflect on the Total Place Pilots, the likely future of Local Area Agreements, and the next generation of Comprehensive Area Assessment.

What Caroline Spelman has described as 'horizontal cooperation' [LGC 9 November 2009] sounds attractive, but is hard to achieve!

Come and hear from those who are making steady and significant progress.

Speakers:

Max Wide Interim Director of Organisational Development, Barnet London Borough Council
Councillor Richard Stay Deputy Leader, Bedfordshire Central Council
Chris Leslie Director, New Local Government Network
Damian Roberts Director of Strategy & Communications, Croydon London Borough Council
Ken Davis Head of Assessment, Audit Commission

Royal Chace Hotel, Enfield
