IAG organises Conferences and Seminars for practitioners in locations convenient to the membership. These events provide an opportunity to share perspectives with other practitioners in a low risk environment and to listen to expert speakers. Details of forthcoming events are set out below.

Preparing for Inspection

Following the Piloting of approaches to Corporate Area Assessment and the continuing work of the Lifting the Burdens Review, it is timely to examine where local government is heading in terms of self and external regulation, monitoring and inspection.

Speakers from the CAA Pilots, the Audit Commission, Rockpools and a range of practitioners will speak on the sectors latest approaches and readiness for CAA in the new world of area self-assessment, inspection and regulation in what promises to be informative, lively and controversial conference.
